Strawberry Matcha Latte Recipe for Café

If you're running a café or restaurant, you’ve probably noticed that Strawberry Matcha Latte has become one of the trendiest drinks of the year. Customers love its fruity brightness, creamy texture, and the vibrant green matcha layer on top.

To help you create a version that’s both delicious and visually stunning, Matchia is here to share our café-standard recipe for a 16oz serving.

Ingredients (16oz cup)

  • 60g frozen strawberries
  • 12g strawberry jam
  • 12g simple syrup (add more to taste)
  • Milk of choice (whole milk, oat milk, etc.)
  • Ice
  • Matcha shot  (instructions Here
  • Whip Cram
  • Crushed dried strawberries

For larger sizes, simply scale up using the same ratio.

Step 1: Make the Strawberry Base

  1. Add 60g frozen strawberries + 12g strawberry jam + 12g syrup into a blender.
  2. Blend lightly, don’t over-blend.
Keeping a bit of strawberry texture gives the drink a more enjoyable mouthfeel and a fresh, fruity character.
Pour the strawberry base into the bottom of the cup.
Add extra syrup here if you prefer a sweeter drink.

Step 2: Add Ice & Milk

  • Add a generous amount of ice.
  • Pour in milk until the cup is 90% full.
This helps create a clean and beautiful white layer before adding the matcha.

Step 3:  Pour the Matcha & Finish

Slowly pour 50-60g of the matcha shot (instructions Here) over the milk to create a beautiful three-layer effect:
  • Bright strawberry base
  • Creamy milk center
  • Vibrant Matchia green on top
A perfect balance of fruity, creamy, earthy, and café quality in every sip.

Optional Seasonal Finish:

For a festive touch, especially during the holiday season, you can top the drink with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed dried strawberries.
It adds a Christmas inspired look and enhances the strawberry aroma, which is perfect for limited-time seasonal menus.
