Our Certifications
ISO 22000
ISO 22000 is the international standard for food safety management systems that ensures effective control of food safety hazards throughout the supply chain — from raw ingredient sourcing to packaging and delivery. It provides a structured framework for identifying risks, implementing controls, and maintaining rigorous traceability and documentation so that matcha products are consistently safe and compliant with global food safety expectations. ISO 22000 certification signals to partners and buyers that our systems systematically manage food safety and quality on a global scale.
US NOP Organic
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) national standards apply to organic production as well as the marketing and labeling behind natural products. Items with the USDA label must "Integrate cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. Synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering may not be used." Customers can rest assured that items with this certification have met the rigid standards set by the United States for truly organically produced products.
European, JAS Organic
The Japanese Agricultural Organic Standard is the organic standards equivalent of the USDA. Products with a JAS certification may sell their products as organic in Japan or the U.S. Similar to USDA standards, JAS has set standards for organic processed foods and plants, as well as strict guidelines for the production, processing, labeling, and marketing of organically produced foods.
Rainforest Alliance
Rainforest Alliance certification means that tea farms and supply partners meet rigorous environmental, social, and economic sustainability standards. Products carrying the Rainforest Alliance seal come from sources that support biodiversity, protect ecosystems, promote better livelihoods for farmers and workers, and encourage responsible agricultural practices that benefit both people and nature. Choosing Rainforest Alliance Certified ingredients reflects a commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing in the global tea supply chain.
